At Shalynn our new block of ‘Indoor Catteries’ and our Alpine Style Catteries, built over two floors are very popular.
All of our 'chalet style' catteries are spacious and airy, with heat in the winter (at no extra cost). We have 66 standard size units suited for 1 or 2 cats, (from the same family). Our 7 larger units comfortably house up to 6 cats at a time. Our new block of 5 ‘indoor style’ catteries can house up to 4 cats in the 2 larger units. Our Alpine Upstairs/Downstairs units can comfortable house a large family of cats.
All of our catteries have a window shelf and a tree trunk scratch post. We do ask that you bring either a Cat Bed, Blanket or just an old jumper that smells of home to help settle them in. We keep a variety of brand name wet & dry foods to suit the majority of residents. Owners are welcome to supply any special diets or gourmet style foods that we do not stock.
Should your cat require medication then our staff are more than competent at administering it. (Oral only) Since we are a Licensed Cattery, all cats must be vaccinated before we can allow them to board with us. Please make sure you bring your vaccination records with you, as we now have to keep all records on site whilst your pet is staying with us. (We do not have to keep rabbit vaccination records)
We will make every endeavour to ensure the health and happiness of your pets whilst in our care, as we have done for the past 40 years.
All customers will need to pay a £20 Non-Refundable deposit. This will be lost if the booking is cancelled unless under exceptional circumstances and will be Management decision. We accept Cash and all major UK credit and debit cards (not American Express, Diners club or JCB).
We stock most brands of food for your pets, but should your usual brand not be listed below, then you will need to bring along enough to cover your pets entire stay. i.e. special dietary food etc.
Should you have any questions regarding eating habits, please feel free to call us.
All Cats must be up to date with the appropriate vaccinations before coming into the cattery. An up to date veterinary card will need to be produced on arrival and are kept at the cattery for the duration of your holiday.
It is advised that all Rabbits are vaccinated against Myxomatosis although a veterinary card is not needed by us.
